♦ Thermostatic settings are user-definable and nonvolatile

♦ Data is read from/written via a 3-wire serial interface (CLK, DQ, RST )

♦ Applications include thermostatic controls, industrial systems, consumer products, thermometers, or any thermally sensitive system
