Attributes of Bray Actuators and Valves 93-0834-11300-532 S/R Pneumatic Actuator
Basic Type: Spring Return (S/R) pneumatic actuator, suitable for driving 90° rotary valves such as ball valves, butterfly valves, or plug valves.
Operating Pressure: 40 to 140 psi (2.8 - 10 bar).
Applicable Media: Dry compressed air is recommended. Other media such as inert gases can also be used, but consult the manufacturer if using media other than dry compressed air.
Structural Design: Features a dual-piston, rack-and-pinion mechanism for stable power output. The actuator is modular, constructed from extruded aluminum alloy and anodized 316 stainless steel, offering high strength, durability, and compactness.
Actuation Mode: In the event of loss of compressed air pressure, the spring assembly pushes the piston via spring force to close the valve, typically by rotating the valve stem clockwise (Fail-Closed mode). Counterclockwise rotation opens the valve.
Rotation Angle: 90 degrees.
Temperature Range: -20°F to 200°F (-29°C to 95°C).
Seal Material: Piston O-ring is made of Buna-N rubber.
Other Features: Fully enclosed structure to protect internal components, easy to assemble and disassemble. It can be directly mounted on the top plate of Bray valves. For long-term maintenance, apply some lubricant to the actuator's output hole before installation.
