Rubber Internal Lubricant and Mold Release Agent SR-IMR
Product Description:
SR-IMR is a mixture of calcium fatty acid salts and amide ester waxes. It reduces rubber compound viscosity, improves flowability, and enhances lubrication between the rubber compound and metal surfaces, thereby improving the plasticization and extrusion performance of the rubber compound, and increasing the dimensional stability and die swell stability of extruded products. SR-IMR is particularly suitable for EPDM, butyl rubber, and other natural and synthetic rubber compounds. During injection molding and mixing, this product effectively prevents adhesion between the rubber compound and metal surfaces, and prevents the rubber compound from sticking to the mixer rotor or mill rolls. SR-IMR reduces mold fouling, improves filler dispersion, and enhances processing safety.
Application Areas:
Used as an internal lubricant and mold release agent in natural and synthetic rubber compounds. Particularly suitable for EPDM and butyl rubber compounds.
Usage:
1. Add together with other materials during mixing. It can be added to the rubber compound at any stage of mixing. For ideal mold release effect, it is recommended to add it at the beginning of mixing.
2. Recommended dosage: IIR, BIIR/CIIR: 2-5 phr IR, BR: 2-3 phr
CR: 2-4 phr EPDM, ACM: 1-3 phr

Storage:
