Product Description
The EN10216-5 1.4541 Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger Tube is engineered for high-temperature applications, delivering exceptional corrosion resistance and thermal stability. This austenitic stainless steel (equivalent to AISI 321) is titanium-stabilized to prevent carbide precipitation, making it ideal for demanding chemical processing environments.
Grade 1.4541 contains chromium (17-19%) and nickel (9-12%) with titanium additives for enhanced stability. It offers superior resistance to various corrosive conditions, particularly intergranular corrosion. Manufactured to EN10216-5 standards, these seamless pressure tubes meet rigorous quality requirements for safety and performance.
Chemical Composition
Grade | Cr | Ni | Ti | C |
1.4541 | 17.0-19.0% | 9.0-12.0% | ≥ 5x C content | ≤ 0.08% |
Mechanical Properties
Grade | Tensile Strength | Yield Strength | Elongation | Hardness |
1.4541 | ≥ 210 MPa (30 ksi) | ≥ 520 MPa (75 ksi) | ≥ 35% in 50 mm | Typically ≤ 95 HRB |
