What is Dysport?

How is Dysport different from Botox?

Dysport and Botox both contain botulinum toxin Type A and are used to treat and prevent wrinkles by relaxing facial muscles. They do have several differences, including formulation, onset of action, and diffusion characteristics. • Dysport tends to have a quicker onset, often within 1-2 days after injection, compared to Botox, which can take 3-5 days. • Dysport may spread to a wider area after injection, which can be beneficial for treating larger areas but requires precise application by an experienced practitioner to avoid unwanted effects.
