Model MTP Breakout Cable, MTP-16 F APC to 2 x MTP-8 F UPC, 16F, OM4, OFNP, Crossover
The MTP®-16 to 2 x MTP®-8 OM4 cable is a multimode splitter fiber cable, whose MTP®-16 APC end has an 8-degree polished angle to deflect internal optical back reflections from entering the transceiver and distorting the signal quality.
It is designed for linking two 200G optical QSFP56 transceivers transmission to 400G optical QSFP-DD/OSFP transceiver transmission in data center high-speed fiber links. Compared to purchasing and installing separate breakout cassettes, using MTP® breakout cables is more cost-effective and lower-loss.
