Model MTP Breakout Cable, MTP-16 F APC to 2 x MTP-8 F APC, 16F, OM4, OFNP, Crossover
The MTP®-16 to 2 x MTP®-8 OM4 cable is a multimode splitter fiber cable, whose MTP®-16 APC end has an 8-degree polished angle to deflect internal optical back reflections from entering the transceiver and distorting the signal quality.
It is designed for linking two 400G optical QSFP-DD/OSFP transceivers transmission to 800G optical QSFP-DD transceiver transmission in data center high-speed fiber links. Compared to purchasing and installing separate breakout cassettes, using MTP® breakout cables is more cost-effective and lower-loss.
