fiber cleaver is a specialized tool used in fiber optic cable installation and maintenance.Fiber cleavers come in different designs and styles, but most of them consist of a cutting blade or wheel, a fiber holder or v-groove, and an adjustment mechanism for controlling the position of the fiber.The fiber cleaver achieves this by scribing the fiber, creating a stress point, and then applying a controlled force to break the fiber at the scribe line. This results in a smooth, perpendicular cut with minimal damage to the fiber.
