GYTA Armored Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable – Aluminum Tape Moisture-Proof Design

The GYTA fiber optic cable is designed with stranded loose tubes around a central strength member, forming a stable and compact cable core. The core is wrapped with an aluminum-polyethylene laminate that is firmly bonded to a PE inner sheath, serving as a longitudinal and radial moisture barrier. For additional protection, corrugated steel tape laminated with polyethylene on both sides is applied, followed by an MDPE (medium-density polyethylene) outer jacket extruded under strict cecum conditions.

Unlike direct-buried cables, GYTA is recommended for aerial and duct installations, offering reliable performance in long-distance telecommunication networks. The “A” in GYTA refers to the aluminum tape, which provides superior anti-corrosion and moisture resistance compared with steel tape, ensuring a longer service life in duct environments.
