11.5r/Min Rotary Drum Fertilizer Granulator Machine 8t/H
Drum Type NPK Compound Fertilizer Rotary Drum Granulator
The rotary drum fertilizer granulator machine is a molding machine that transforms materials into specific shapes. As a key equipment in the compound fertilizer industry, it is suitable for both cold and hot granulation processes and mass production of high and low concentration compound fertilizers.
The machine operates using aggregation wet granulation technology. With the addition of water or steam, basic fertilizers are humidified in the tank and undergo sufficient chemical reactions. Under specific liquid conditions, the rotating drum movement creates compressive forces between material particles, causing them to agglomerate into spherical balls.
Key Features
- Balling rate exceeding 90% with minimal return material and small feedback size for re-granulation
- Steam heating capability to elevate material temperature, reducing water content after ball forming and improving drying efficiency
- Rubber engineering plastics lining to prevent material sticking while providing corrosion resistance and insulation
- High capacity operation with low power consumption and maintenance costs
Applications
Typical applications of the rotary drum fertilizer granulator machine include:
- Agglomeration involving chemical reactions with reactive liquids or gases as feed components
- Addition of liquids and/or gases into material beds for complete reactions and emission control
- Production of many inorganic fertilizers
- Conversion of fine mineral ores into manageable agglomerates for further processing (iron ore, copper ore, gold ore)
- Granulation where feed consists primarily of liquids or melts such as urea granulation
- Coating of finished products through liquid spraying onto material beds
- Mixing drums for multiple solids and/or liquids combination
- Specialty applications including combined granulation-cooling drums
