Ferrosilicon slag is one of the main additives for smelting pig iron and casting iron. It is a kind of raw material with relatively good performance in price. Ferrosilicon slag can increase the temperature of molten iron and facilitate the discharge of steel slag. The silicon iron slag of our company has different grades with silicon content from30 to 62, we can produce according to customer requirements.

In the steel industry used as deoxidizer and alloying agents in order to obtain qualified chemical composition and guarantee the quality of steel, in the last stage of the steel must be solid, chemical affinity between silicon and oxygen is very big, therefore is silicon steel strong deoxidizer used in sedimentation and diffusion deoxidation in adding a certain amount of silicon steel, can significantly improve the strength of the steel hardness and elasticity, thus in smelting steel (0.40 1.75%) in bud silicon steel (including the SiO. 30-1.8%) Ferrosilicon is also used as an alloying agent for spring steel (containing SiO.40-2.8%) and silicon steel for transformers (containing Silicon 2.81-4.8%).
