Merge lighting and acoustics into one striking ceiling element with our translucent polyester panels. Available in lighter densities and white/ivory tones, these PET fiber sheets allow warm, diffused LED light to pass through, creating a glowing acoustic ceiling that eliminates both harsh echoes and dark shadows. You can cut the panels into any custom shape or size to create illuminated clouds, logo cutouts, or seamless backlit ceiling stretches. With an NRC up to 0.85, they effectively dampen overhead reflections while the integrated LED array provides ambient or feature lighting. The material is heat-stable, non-yellowing, and fire-rated for use with LED fixtures. This dual-function panel reduces the need for separate lighting and acoustic treatments, simplifying ceiling design and installation. How It Works
LED light placed behind the panel scatters through the low-density polyester fiber, producing a soft, even glow. Sound waves pass through the same porous structure and are dissipated via air friction. The panel's thickness is optimized to balance light transmission with acoustic performance; both functions operate simultaneously without interference.
