A: No fixed lifespan, but watch for these signs: 1. Mileage: Silicone oil types last 80,000-100,000km; electromagnetic ones 50,000-70,000km; 2. Symptoms: If the fan doesn’t speed up when the engine overheats, or spins non-stop in cold weather, the clutch is failing. For vehicles in extreme conditions (e.g., deserts/arctic), replace 20% earlier.

Q: Why is my engine noisier after replacing the fan clutch?
A: Three possible causes: 1. Improper installation: Misaligned pulleys create vibrations; 2. Wrong model: New clutch has incorrect torque capacity; 3. Poor parts: Fake clutches have low-precision bearings that rattle. Fixes: Reinstall with a torque wrench (25-30N·m), verify model compatibility, or return it if noise persists.

Q: Why does the fan clutch make a "click" sound when starting in winter?
