Q: How can I prevent the fan clutch from over-engaging in cold winter conditions?

A: Use a “cold-zone” clutch with a low-temperature compensation spring or install a removable winter grille in front of the radiator; ensure coolant temperature remains above 75 °C, otherwise the bimetal sensor will mistake the condition for overheating and lock the fan.

Q: How can I prevent the reverse-thread fan nut from seizing during clutch removal?
