• Function

1.Power Transmission: The pilot gear is driven by the engine to rotate within the pilot pump. Through gear meshing, it transmits power to other components in the pilot system, ensuring the normal operation of the entire pilot control system.

2.Hydraulic Pressure Generation: As the gear rotates, it sucks oil from the oil tank and sends it to the pilot system and the main pump, generating the necessary hydraulic pressure. This hydraulic pressure is the power source for controlling the movement of components such as the boom, arm, and bucket of the excavator.

3.Precise Control: The pilot gear converts the operator's small - force operation on the control lever into a large - force hydraulic signal. By accurately controlling the output pressure and flow of the pilot system, it enables the operator to precisely control the actions of the excavator through the pilot control lever, achieving precise and flexible operation.
