Product information:

This flammability test apparatus is intended for comparing the relative horizontal burning rates of polymeric materials used in occupant compartments of motor vehicles (cars, multi-purpose passenger cars, trucks and buses). It meets the requirements of FMVSS 302, ISO3795, DIN75200, ASTM D5132-17, TL1010, GB8410 and etc.

The specimen is horizontally held on the U-shaped frame, and after the free end of the sample is ignited for 15 seconds in the combustion chamber using a predetermined height flame, it is determined whether the flame on the specimen is extinguished, or when it is extinguished, the burnt distance and the time to burn distance.

Structure:

The testing machine is composed of a control chamber, a combustion chamber body, a combustion burner, a solenoid valve (flow meter), a high-pressure igniter, a thermometer, a signal control line, the upper and lower brackets of the sample, and a fume hood.
