The Olympus ENF-V2 is a video rhinolaryngoscope with an outer diameter of just 3.2 mm, a 90° field of view, a depth of field of 5-50 mm and a 300 mm working length. The 3.2 mm tip is among the thinnest in routine ENT use, and it comes with a redesigned pistol grip: the grip changes how the instrument is held, giving a more stable, one-handed feel during an office examination where the patient is seated and the endoscopist is standing.
A scope this thin is unforgiving: leak test before every use, inspect the shaft along its full length for kinks, and never coil it tightly. Clean the channel and distal window per the manufacturer's instructions, dry with air and store hanging vertically in a protective cabinet. Confirm the processor generation before connecting, since ENF connectors vary across generations.
Each scope is inspected before dispatch for optics clarity, deflection, insertion tube integrity and image output where a compatible processor is available.
