Product Overview

The Storz H3-ZA (222010020) is a three-chip full-HD camera head with a parfocal zoom lens and optical zoom. Three CCD sensors separate the incoming light into red, green and blue channels, which is why this class of head renders mucosal colour and tissue differentiation more faithfully than a single-chip design. The parfocal zoom lens holds focus through the zoom range, so the surgeon can zoom in on a structure without losing the plane of focus at the moment it matters.

Care, Sterilisation and Quality Control

Leak test before autoclaving where the head is autoclavable, cool fully before reconnection, and clean the coupler optics with lens-safe materials. Check the cable at the strain relief: a bent connector pin produces intermittent image loss that is often blamed on the CCU. Each head is checked for good working and cosmetic condition, tested for image output and inspected for cable and connector integrity before dispatch.
