Safety Circuit Monitoring: As the core safety switch of Hitachi escalators, it monitors critical components such as the handrail entrance, step chain, and drive chain in real time. In case of abnormalities, it immediately triggers the safety circuit, forcing the escalator to stop immediately and preventing major accidents such as people being trapped or chain breakage.

Multi-Scenario Protection Trigger
Handrail Entrance Anti-Pinch: When a foreign object (clothing, finger) gets caught, the switch activates and stops the escalator.

Step/Chain Protection: When the chain is loose, broken, or misaligned, the operating power is cut off.

Overload/Overspeed Protection: In conjunction with the control system, it triggers braking in case of overload or overspeed.

Maintenance Safety Lock: Manually triggered during maintenance to prevent accidental start-up.
