96-Channel, 5 V, TTL/CMOS, 24 mA PXI Digital I/O Module - The PXI-6509 can directly drive external digital devices such as solid state relays (SSRs). Each port can be configured as an input or output, and the outputs do not require external power. The programmable power-up state feature allows the user to configure the initial output state using software to ensure hassle-free and safe operation when connected to industrial actuators. In the event of a computer or application failure, the PXI-6509 can be switched to a configurable safe output state using a digital I/O watchdog to ensure that the faulty state is detected and safely recovered. Programmable input filters eliminate burrs/spikes and provide de-jittering for digital switches/relays with software-selectable digital filters.
