DN10-50 Magnetic Flow Meter For Various Industrial And Agricultural Applications

Electromagnetic flowmeters are designed to measure the volume flow of conductive fluids in closed pipelines. They are also capable of measuring corrosive liquids such as strong acids and alkalis, as well as uniform liquid-solid mixed liquids including mud, pulp, and paper pulp.

These flowmeters are widely used across multiple industries including petrochemical, iron and steel metallurgy, water supply and drainage, water irrigation, water treatment, environmental protection sewage measurement and control, paper manufacturing, medicine, food, and other industrial and agricultural production processes.

Electromagnetic Flowmeter Lining Material Selection

The selection of lining materials should be based on the measured medium's abrasiveness, corrosion resistance, and temperature requirements.

Material Main Performance Characteristics Applications
Polyurethane
  • Excellent abrasion resistance (10 times that of rubber)
  • Limited acid/alkali resistance
  • Not suitable for water mixed with organic impregnants
 <45℃ - Suitable for mineral serosity, slurry and coal slurry of high abrasion
Natural Rubber (Soft Rubber)
  • Good elasticity and abrasion resistance
  • Resistant to low acid concentrations
 <80℃ - Measuring water and sewage
Acidproof Rubber (Hard Rubber)
  • Resistant to hydrochloric acid, acetic acid, oxalic acid, ammonia water, phosphoric acid, 50% sulfuric acid, and sodium hydroxide at normal temperatures
  • Not resistant to strong oxidizers
 -25℃ to +90℃ - Measuring general acid, alkali, and salt solutions
Neoprene
  • Good elasticity, retractility and abrasion resistance
  • Resistant to low acid, alkali and salt but not oxidation mediums
 <80℃ - Measuring water, sewage, slurry, and mineral serosity of low abrasion
Fluorine Plastic - Teflon F-4 (PTFE)
  • Most stable plastic material, resistant to boiling hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, strong alkali and organic impregnates
  • Limited abrasion resistance
 -40℃ to +180℃ - Measuring strong corrosive mediums such as strong acid and alkali
F-46 (PTFE)
  • Same chemical resistance as PTFE
  • Resistant to low abrasion
  • Strong resistance to load pressure
 Same applications as PTFE, suitable for low abrasion mediums
PFA
