IEC61347-1 Heating Enclosure for Testing Thermally Protected Ballast

1. Introduction

The heating enclosure is designed according to IEC61347-1 figure D.1 and annex D, for carrying out the heating test of thermally protected lamp controlgrear.

Structure of front door

Up-and-down sliding type, with an opening size of 150×150 mm, and sealed by an aluminium semicircular structural component.

Heating elements

Heating element: 300W strip stainless steel heater.

Heat sink: brass heat sink.

Heat sink dimensions: L40×W40×L300 mm.

Quantity: 1 set.

Heating control: temperature sensing by thermocouple, controlled by temperature controller.

Control unit

The temperature controller is installed on the front of the electrical box.

Temperature control adopts PID control mode.

Heating elements are controlled by solid-state relays.
