Product Description of tinned copper sleeve:

Strong metal fibers made from tinned copper create our Metal Braided Sleeving that can be used in automotive applications to dress-up engines, hose support or wire protection.

The properties of Tinned Copper Metal Braided Sleeving not only protects against cuts and abrasion, but also EMI, RFI and ESD.


Usage

Flat braid is typically used as a flexible and durable ground strap. High currents (Amps) are easily carried in low voltages. Tubular braid is made with individual ends that conform to ASTM B33 specification. The braid is manufactured to provide shield coverage of 90% minimum

Braided from 36 AWG (0.005") tinned copper wire. Values shown are for bare cable in free air at 30 deg. C (86 deg. F) and are for reference use only. Actual values depend upon permissible temperature rise, voltage drop, and other conditions of service.

Tinned copper braided wire is used as flexible jointing wire of electric appliance, switch appliance electric stove and storage battery etc. such as Cable, CRT Assembly Wire, Television, Computer Monitor.ETC signal pickup instruments. Braided copper wire can be provided rolled flat or in tubular form. Flat braids are generally used for flexible connections, electrical leads and grounding straps.
