DESCRIPTION

LSR's exceptional properties are attributed to its siloxane bond, which provides an inorganic backbone that does not react with biological materials and can be combined with organic chemical groups. This bond also enhances mechanical performance and strength.

The inorganic nature of LSR makes it ideal for medical and skin-contact applications, while its ability to blend with other chemical groups allows it to achieve exceptional performance. For example, LSR's rebound resilience, which refers to its ability to transfer energy after a force is applied, surpasses that of many other elastomers and is highly preferred for pumping applications.

The injection molding process of liquid silicone rubber provides ease of processing, high-volume production, consistent part quality, and enhanced productivity. Due to its remarkable properties, LSR has become the preferred material for demanding applications.
