Low Density 1.5mm Thickness IXPE Polyethylene Thermal Insulation Foam Sheet
This 1.5mm thick IXPE foam is widely used in construction applications due to its excellent thermal insulation, waterproof properties, sound absorption capabilities, and lightweight nature. The moderate thickness provides an optimal balance between performance and space efficiency, making it suitable for various building scenarios.
Primary Applications
  • Flooring Underlayment: As a thin underlayment for SPC, WPC, vinyl, and laminate floors, it effectively reduces impact and structural noise, prevents ground moisture penetration, and compensates for slight ground unevenness while maintaining low floor height.
  • Wall & Window Sealing: Die-cut into gaskets or strips for sealing gaps between door/window frames and wall surfaces. It blocks air leakage, enhances thermal insulation, provides sound insulation, and prevents dust infiltration.
  • Pipe & Duct Insulation: Wrapped around air conditioning copper pipes, ventilation ducts, and domestic water pipes to reduce heat transfer, prevent surface condensation, inhibit mold growth, and improve energy efficiency.
  • Roof & Ceiling Insulation: Used as a thin thermal insulation layer between roof waterproof layers or ceiling linings to enhance thermal performance and sound absorption, reducing indoor temperature fluctuations.
