These professional Emery boards shape the nails without tearing,damaging or splitting. The fine grit both sides is gentle on fragile nails and perfect for shaping and smothing of natural and artificial nails.

Each is approximately 18cm long and 2cm wide

Always file in on direction from the side to the centre of the nail using long, smooth strokes.

Never file backwards and forwards as this can damage your nails.

Do not over use the boards, as excessive filing can weaken your nail.

Acrylic Nails Buffing Procedure

1. File down the length of free edges with a 100 grit nail file. You can move the file from side to side for acrylic nails which differs from manicure on natural nails.

2.Straighten under the sides of the free edges by stroking a few times. Move the file in the direction of the blue arrow

3.Carefully stroke the side walls from the base of the nail towards the free edge to make them straight.

4.Change the file to a finer nail file or coarse sponge buffer (both are about 150 to 180 grit) and buff the entire surface of the nail.

5.Progressively switch from coarse buffer to medium-fine sponge buffer (about 220 to 300 grit) and buff the entire surface of the nail.

6.Switch to a finer sponge buffer or shiner (about 400 grit) and buff the entire surface of the nail until they become smooth and shiny.

7.Remove any dust and wash hands thoroughly with hand soap.

8.After drying the hands well, buff nails with a very smooth shiner (1000/4000 grit or wipe the buffer from Step 7 and use again) until they shine like a glass!!

9.Wash hands and dry thoroughly again and apply cuticle oil around the cuticle area.

10.Massage cuticle oil into the skin and done!!
