Description
Lemphy tumbler screening separator is used for control screening, fractionating and dedusting of dry, powdered and granular products. Especially suitable for multi-stage separation, of fines, lightweights and difficult to screen products. Use nets with mesh opening up to 20 microns.
The tumbler screening machine has a three-dimensional movement similar to the simple hand screening of the "gold washing pan". It involves a better efficiency and an higher specific screen load as compared to vibration systems.
It is used in all sectors of application and has stable screen motion even under full load. Particularly suitable for high feed rates and multi deck separations of fine, lightweight products which are difficult to screen.
Tumbling movement easy regulation and low frequency vibrations guarantee the following advantages:
1: No particle destruction in sensitive products;
2: Precise control of product residence time on the screen;
3: Screening efficiency up to 99%;
4: Constant product quality.
Easy to install, can separate particles in 1 to 6 sizes with up to 5 screen decks incorporated in one Lemphy separator.
Standard model range in diameter size from 1.200 mm to 2.600 mm.
The sieve mesh itself is easily and quickly removable so that its aperture size can be changed according to the powder or liquid being processed. Lemphy tumbler screening separators use mesh that is securely bonded with adhesive to a frame, which gives a really highe tension in the mesh. Having a consistent and high tension level gives better throughputs and reduces blinding or blocking of the sieve apertures. Another recent development is the use of FDA-approved adhesive to bond the sieve mesh to the frame.
Screens can also be equipped with various cleaning system as: Balls, kleeners, starbrush, CIP and the innovative ultrasonic cleaning system.
The separator can be built on customer request with carbon steel, stainless steel 304SS, stainless steel 316L.
