API Bleeder Valve For Oilfield Downhole Operation Flow Control Valve
The Bleeder valve conformed with API standard is also called Drain Valve is used whenever a check valve is present and are installed immediately above the check valve. They prevent pulling a wettubing string and need not to be run if a check valve is not installed. The Bleeder valve contains a break-off plug that, after being sheared, opens a hole in the tubing through which liquid can flow back to the well bottom.
