3.application area of water well drill pipe
1. Water conservancy engineering: used for drilling various types of water wells, including agricultural irrigation wells, urban water supply wells, industrial water wells, etc., providing key support for obtaining groundwater resources.
2. Geological exploration: In geological exploration work, assist in drilling geological samples, understand underground geological structures, rock distribution, etc., and provide a basis for mineral resource exploration, geological hazard assessment, etc.
3. Mining: Assist in the drilling and excavation work of mines, such as coal mine water exploration, gas exploration, tunnel exploration and other operations, to ensure safe production of mines and improve resource development efficiency.
4. Construction engineering: In the construction of building foundations, it is used for pile foundation drilling, underground continuous wall construction, etc., to provide stable foundation support for buildings.
How to choose the appropriate drill rod?
1. Soft strata (such as clay and sandy soil):
The geological structure is loose and causes less wear on the drill pipe. Medium strength drill pipes (such as those made of DZ50 material) can be selected, with a focus on the flexibility of the drill pipe and the smoothness of the conveying medium to avoid collapse of the hole wall due to the hardness of the drill pipe.
2. Hard strata (such as rocks and gravel layers):
During drilling, the drill bit is subjected to high stress, and the drill rod needs to withstand high-strength torque and impact. Therefore, high-strength materials (such as R780) and drill rods with thickened joints should be selected to ensure bending and fatigue resistance and reduce the risk of rod breakage.
3. Complex strata (such as underground water, salt layers, caves):
It is necessary to consider the corrosion resistance (such as selecting drill rods that have undergone anti-corrosion treatment) and sealing of the drill rod to avoid leakage of flushing fluid or corrosion of the drill rod; If there is a cave, the drill pipe needs to have higher toughness to prevent sudden force fracture.
