When drilling rock with hardness F8–14, it delivers practical penetration of up to 15–18 meters.

Paired with lightweight hand-held jackhammers including the Y6, Y10, and Y24, it handles hole sizes of 20–45 mm for drilling depths under 5 m. It is a popular choice in natural stone quarries for small boreholes, stone trimming, and secondary rock breaking.
