Hongruntong Marine Hose Floats are engineered floatation devices designed to provide stable buoyancy and reliable support for dredging hoses, slurry pipelines, and marine fluid transfer systems. The product is primarily used in demanding marine and offshore environments where hoses must remain afloat, aligned, and protected during continuous operation.
Manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with a closed-cell polyurethane foam core, Hose Floats combine high buoyancy capacity with excellent structural strength. The modular split-body design allows easy installation directly onto hoses or pipelines without dismantling existing systems. Standard sizes cover hose diameters from small auxiliary lines to large-diameter dredging pipelines, while custom dimensions are available for special project requirements.
Performance advantages include high load-bearing capability, resistance to abrasion and impact, and long-term durability under harsh marine conditions. The outer shell is UV-stabilized and resistant to saltwater corrosion, oils, and chemicals commonly encountered in dredging and offshore operations.
During a large-scale offshore land reclamation project in Southeast Asia, a contractor was operating a cutter suction dredger equipped with an 800 mm diameter floating discharge pipeline. The existing floatation devices provided uneven buoyancy and were prone to abrasion damage, leading to repeated misalignment and excessive stress at hose connections.
Hongruntong Marine supplied a set of heavy-duty Hose Floats specifically engineered for the project's requirements. After deployment, the floating pipeline demonstrated significantly improved stability and alignment, even under moderate sea states. The contractor reported improved dredging efficiency, lower maintenance costs, and enhanced operational safety.

Hongruntong Marine Hose Floats are designed to deliver precise and reliable buoyancy based on detailed engineering calculations. Each float is matched to the hose diameter, wall thickness, and internal media density to ensure sufficient lift under fully loaded conditions.
The outer shell is manufactured from marine-grade HDPE, offering excellent resistance to impact, abrasion, and environmental degradation. The HDPE shell is UV-stabilized and resistant to saltwater, oils, and common dredging chemicals.
The split-body structure allows the Hose Floats to be installed directly onto hoses or pipelines without cutting or disconnecting the system. This design significantly reduces installation time and labor costs.
Unlike inflatable floatation devices or metal pontoons, Hongruntong Marine Hose Floats require minimal maintenance. The closed-cell foam does not absorb water, eliminating the risk of buoyancy loss over time.
