Overview
The Quick Release Screw is specifically designed for short distance conveying and/or metering of any type of granular or powder composition. Inlets and outlets can be customized to suit the application. The pressurized bearing design ensures that powder does not enter the bearings.

This quick release screw allows for easy installation and removal. The all stainless steel sanitary design is suitable for products with MIE > 3mJ in the food, plastics and chemical industries.

Working Principle
This quick release screw is fed by gravity (below hoppers, discharge stations, etc.) and can be inclined up to 30°.
The product is conveyed from the inlet to the pipe outlet by means of an Archimedes screw. This heavy duty screw (inner shaft) is driven by a direct coupled gear motor. In dosing applications, the gear motor can be connected to a frequency converter to regulate the speed for fine dosing.
The pitch has been specifically designed to regulate flow while avoiding product compression. Discharge capacity is up to 53 cubic meters per hour.
