Production Process
- Raw Material Selection: High-quality nickel ore is selected based on purity and composition requirements for the production of pure nickel tubes.
- Smelting: The selected nickel ore is smelted in a furnace at high temperatures to extract the pure nickel metal.
- Casting: The molten nickel is cast into billets or ingots of desired shapes and sizes using molds.
- Extrusion: The nickel billets/ingots are heated and extruded through a die to form seamless tubes of various diameters and lengths.
- Cold Drawing: The extruded nickel tubes may undergo cold drawing processes to further reduce their diameter and improve dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Annealing: The cold-drawn nickel tubes undergo annealing process to relieve internal stresses and improve mechanical properties such as ductility and toughness.
- Surface Treatment: Surface treatment processes such as pickling, polishing, and coating may be applied to enhance the surface quality and corrosion resistance of the nickel tubes.
- Final Inspection and Packaging: The finished nickel tubes undergo rigorous quality inspection to ensure dimensional accuracy, mechanical properties, and purity levels before being packaged and shipped to customers.
