Super alloy nickel-chromium-iron UNS. N06600/W.Nr. 2.4816 inconel 600 tube
Inconel 600 tube is a nonmagnetic nickel-chromium alloy with excellent resistance to oxidation and other forms of high temperature corrosion. This alloy also has excellent mechanical properties and presents desirable combination of high strength and good workability. Used for furnace and chemical-treatment components, in food processing, in nuclear engineering, and for engine and airframe components.
Alloy 600 is a nonmagnetic, nickel-based high temperature alloy possessing an excellent combination of high strength, hot and cold workability, and resistance to ordinary form of corrosion.
This alloy also displays good heat resistance and freedom from aging or stress corrosion throughout the annealed to heavily cold worked condition range.
