Features of Carrier roller / support roller :

The carrier roller is installed above the track and in the middle of the track frame, playing several key roles for crawler excavators.
1 Support the upper track
It holds up the upper track chain to prevent excessive sagging and bouncing during operation. It also avoids violent collision and friction between the track and the chassis frame.
2 Reduce traveling resistance
It enables the upper track to roll smoothly when the excavator moves forward or backward. It lowers running resistance and avoids direct grinding between track and frame structure.
3 Assist track guiding
It works coordinately with guide wheels and drive sprockets in the undercarriage system. It keeps the track running steadily and effectively reduces track deviation and derailment.
4 Auxiliary weight bearing
