Description

The C-aterpillar C7/C9 engine is equipped with C-aterpillar's classic HEUI hydraulic electronically controlled unit injector, which is one of the most mainstream HEUI solutions in the construction machinery/heavy truck field. The core of it relies on high-pressure oil to drive the supercharging and ECM electronic control to achieve high-pressure injection.


Compatible Engines:

C-aterpillar C7 (7L) and C9 (9L) inline six-cylinder diesel engines, widely used in 324D/325D/329D/330D/336D excavators, loaders, mining machinery, and heavy trucks.


Core Models:

C7: Starting with D7A (e.g., D7A2001), T408845, T419385

C9: 10R-4761, 10R-4762, 10R-4763, 20R-1277, 20R-1278, etc.


C7 and C9 injectors must be tested on a dedicated HEUI test bench, which provides high-pressure oil, low-pressure fuel, and electronically controlled drive to measure flow rate, leakage, response, and pre-injection/main injection characteristics.
