Application:

The 9323A270G and 9323A272G pumps are calibrated for Perkins 1103 and 1104 mechanical-injection engines used in compact tractors, telehandlers, mini-excavators and mobile welder/generator packages. Typical fitments include the Massey Ferguson 3300-series and 4300-series tractors, Landini Rex 4-100 / Rex 4-110 utility tractors, JCB TM310 and TM320 articulated loaders, and Pramac GSW45P diesel generator sets. All listed engines are 3.3 L or 4.4 L three- and four-cylinder naturally aspirated or turbocharged units rated from 55 kW to 85 kW at 2 200–2 600 r/min.

Technical specifications:

The pump body is a single-piece cast-iron housing with integral camshaft bore Ø35 mm and three-point mounting flange to SAE J744 size 2. Plunger diameter is 10 mm, maximum stroke 9 mm, delivering peak injection pressures up to 1 400 bar. The internal vane-type feed pump supplies 120 L/h at 400 kPa; the automatic advance mechanism provides 4° of crank-angle advance from 1 000 to 2 400 r/min. Drive coupling is 12 mm wide Woodruff key with 110 mm PCD four-bolt pattern. Seals are FKM (Viton) compatible with biodiesel blends up to B20.

Material & performance features:

Plunger and barrel assemblies are machined from case-hardened 20MnCr5 alloy steel, super-finished to 0.3 µm Ra for minimal friction and leakage. Camshaft lobes are induction-hardened to 58–62 HRC, while roller tappets receive a DLC coating to reduce scuffing under high transient torque. The distributor head is cast from high-tensile aluminium alloy with bronze wear sleeves for cavitation resistance. A glass-fibre-reinforced nylon governor cover resists impact and moisture ingress to IP65. Lightweight aluminium die-cast control sleeve ensures rapid idle-speed recovery and smooth torque rise across the operating range.
