Process Introduction

Premium 50g glassine uses higher-grade pulp with stricter refining control. After AKD sizing and PVA surface sizing (double-sided), the paper undergoes supercalendering with increased linear pressure (400-500 kN/m) and temperature (100-120°C) to achieve smoothness ≥1000s and gloss ≥42%. Density reaches ≥1.10 g/cm³. Finished rolls are edge-trimmed, dedusted, and moisture-balanced to ±0.5%.
