The CDB01.1C-ET-EN1-EN1-EN2-EN2-NN-S-NN-FW is a configurable dual-axis control section of the Rexroth IndraDrive CDB family. It is designed to seat inside the power unit and act as the motion-control brain for two servo axes. This unit ships with Multi-Ethernet (ET) master communication, a fixed encoder-interface layout (EN1 / EN1 / EN2 / EN2), no onboard safety option (NN), standard control panel (S), and firmware ordered separately (FW).
Built for CNC machines, automated production lines, and industrial motion cabinets where the original Rexroth CDB configuration must be reproduced exactly—not approximated by series name alone.
Key Features
- Exact type-code match – ET / EN1×2 / EN2×2 / NN / S / NN / FW positions are decoded before shipment to prevent cross-series mis-replacement.
- Dual-axis independent control – runs two IndraDrive servo axes with synchronized position / speed / torque loops; PWM switching 2–16 kHz; current-loop cycle 62.5–125 µs.
- Multi-Ethernet communication (ET) – supports EtherCAT / PROFINET / Ethernet/IP depending on firmware; not field-upgradable to Sercos or PROFIBUS by software alone.
- Encoder interface layout:
- Option 1 (EN1) → HSF / RSF incremental
- Option 2 (EN1) → HSF / RSF incremental
- Option 3 (EN2) → EnDat 2.1 / 1 Vpp / TTL
- Option 4 (EN2) → EnDat 2.1 / 1 Vpp / TTL
Positions 3–4 are critical: swapping EN1 / EN2 slots changes feedback compatibility.
- No onboard safety module (NN) – standard drive behavior; Safe Torque Off / Safe Motion must come from a higher-level PLC or separate safety card.
- Standard control panel (S) + RS232 service port + MMC card slot for parameter backup.
- Firmware sold separately (FW) – unit is hardware-only; matching firmware version must be confirmed against the existing drive project before commissioning.

Replacement & Compatibility Warning
⚠ Do NOT replace by “CDB01.1C” series name only.
The suffix string defines hardware:
ET vs SE/PB,
EN1 vs EN2 vs ENS slot order,
NN vs L1/L2/S1/S2 safety,
S vs no panel, and firmware tag. A unit with ENS or single EN2 will not accept the original encoder wiring or restore the existing project file.
