This product is an integrated 36mm outer diameter DC brushless/brushed planetary gear reduction motor, specially designed for harsh environments. Its key features include an IP68 high-level waterproof and dustproof protection capability. This motor employs a compact planetary gear transmission mechanism, featuring high torque density, low noise, and long lifespan. It is widely applicable to underwater equipment, outdoor intelligent security systems, explosion-proof industrial robotic arms, and special robot joints, among other scenarios.

It can work for a long time while submerged in water (usually tested under conditions of 1-meter water depth for more than 30 minutes; the specific duration may vary depending on the agreement). The sealing is achieved through O-rings and a dedicated encapsulation adhesive process.

IP68 sealing process
Shaft seal design: The output shaft uses a double lip-mouth frame oil seal combined with magnetic fluid sealing or special rubber O-rings to effectively prevent water and moisture from entering.
Shell seal: The joint surfaces of the front and rear covers are welded by laser or tightened with high-strength screws and treated with sealing glue to ensure overall airtightness.
Lead wire seal: The cable outlet end uses an injection-molded sealed connector to prevent moisture from seeping into the conductor along the wire.
