Double-Twisted Galfan Zinc Coating 8*10cm / 2*1*1m Gabion Basket Retaining Wall Fence

This double-twisted Galfan zinc coated gabion basket is a heavy-duty hexagonal wire mesh stone cage, common sized in 2x1x1m dimension with 8×10cm mesh aperture.

Adopting Galfan zinc-aluminum(Zn95+Al5) coating and mechanical double-twisted weaving technology, the gabion cage features ultra-strong corrosion resistance, structural stability and flexibility.

It is widely used for retaining wall construction, slope protection, river bank reinforcement, landscape fencing and erosion control projects, serving as a durable and eco-friendly civil engineering solution.

1. High-Grade Galfan Coating

Different from ordinary hot-dip galvanized wire, this gabion basket adopts Galfan zinc-aluminum composite coating technology. The alloy coating forms a dense protective layer on the steel wire surface, effectively isolating air, water and saline-alkali substances. It delivers 3-5 times longer service life than traditional galvanized gabions, with excellent anti-rust and anti-corrosion performance, adapting to harsh environments such as coastal areas, river wetlands and saline-alkali land.

2. Reinforced Double-Twisted Structure

The mesh is woven by professional mechanical double-twisted process with uniform mesh opening and tight wire joint connection. The unique double-twisted hexagonal structure will not loose or deform even if single wire is damaged, ensuring overall structural integrity and strong tensile strength. The rigid woven structure can bear heavy stone filling and long-term soil pressure, avoiding collapse and deformation of retaining walls.

3. High-Tensile Steel Wire Base

Made of high-quality low-carbon steel wire as raw material, the wire body has good toughness and high tensile strength, not easy to break or bend. All edges are neatly processed without burrs, ensuring safe construction and installation. Equipped with matching lacing wires and reinforcing rings, the gabion basket can be firmly fixed after assembly, greatly improving overall stability.
