1.1.3.3 - Tetramethylguanidine is an important organic synthesis intermediate, which is expensive and can be used as a catalyst for polyurethane foam, as well as for dyeing nylon (nylon), wool and other proteins, and in the pharmaceutical industry for the synthesis of cephalosporin series antibiotics. The application examples are as follows:
1) Prepare ZSM-5 zeolite and synthesize it under neutral conditions using tetramethylguanidine as a template. The preparation method comprises the following steps: a. mixing the template agent tetramethylguanidine with deionized water, ammonium fluoride, and aluminum oxide source; b. Add acid to adjust pH to neutral; c. Adding a silicon source; d. Crystallization and synthesis of ZSM-5 zeolite molecular sieve. Because the cost of molecular sieves must be considered when they are used in industry, which is one reason why they cannot be widely used. In the existing technology, the organic template and inorganic substances required for the synthesis of ZSM-5 are expensive. The cheap template tetramethylguanidine is used in the invention, which is of great significance for the industrial application of zeolite molecular sieves. In addition, ZSM-5 usually needs to be synthesized under strong alkaline conditions. The present invention successfully synthesized ZSM-5 zeolite with high crystallinity under neutral conditions for the first time.
