6. Installation Instructions

1. Inspection & Cleaning: Ensure flat surfaces of cylinder block and head are free of scratches, deformation and oil stains. Check the gasket for damage and wrinkles.
2. Installation Direction: Place the marked side towards the cylinder head with the "TOP" mark facing upward, and align all holes with water and oil passages.
3. Bolt Torque: Tighten bolts diagonally in three steps. Final torque: 120±10 Nm (cold condition).
4. Flatness Control: The flatness of cylinder head shall not exceed 0.05 mm/m. Grind and repair if out of tolerance.
5. Complete Replacement: Replace together with valves, valve seat inserts, valve guides, valve stem seals, valve springs and rocker arm assembly to guarantee reliable sealing performance.
