Battery Maintenance:

1. Daily Check: For defibrillators in standby mode, check the battery level daily using the battery indicator on the device or the on-screen display to ensure it is fully charged.

2. At least once a month, unplug the defibrillator from AC power and operate it on battery power until the low-battery alarm sounds (or the battery indicator enters the yellow zone). Then, immediately connect the defibrillator to AC power for an uninterrupted, complete charge.

3. Regularly wipe the metal contacts of the battery and the battery compartment with a soft cloth to ensure good contact and prevent dust or oxides from causing charging problems.

Notice:

1. Charge the battery at room temperature in a dry, well-ventilated environment. Avoid charging in extremely high or low temperatures.

2. A fully depleted battery typically takes 4-6 hours to fully charge. Always use the original power cord.

3. After any use (whether in an actual rescue, drill, or self-test), regardless of the amount of power consumed, immediately connect the defibrillator to AC power for charging to restore it to 100% readiness at all times.

4. Do not plug the defibrillator in for just a few minutes of charging and then unplug it for emergency use, as this will severely damage the battery life.
