Ⅰ. Foring Head Diameter
The forging head diameter of steel is generally determined by its ability to freely pass through the cold drawing die hole and having sufficient strength. Usually, the diameter of finished steel is 0.3-1.0 millimeters smaller, and some may even be less than 3.5 millimeters. However, it is necessary to ensure that the forged part has sufficient strength to avoid breakage during the drawing process.
