ASME SB111 C71500 CuNi 70/30 Seamless Tube Heat Exchanger Tubing Anti-Corrosion Pipe

1.Product Description

Copper-nickel alloy tubes are engineering-grade tubing based on copper with nickel as the primary alloying element (content 5%~30%). The most widely used grades are C70600 (90-10, ~10% Ni) and C71500 (70-30, ~30% Ni), with small but critical additions of iron and manganese for micro-alloying strengthening. Manufactured via extrusion combined with cold-drawing or cold-rolling processes, these tubes offer high dimensional precision and smooth internal/external surfaces. The microstructure is a stable single-phase face-centered cubic solid solution, free from phase embrittlement over a broad temperature range. Available in seamless (ASTM B466) and longitudinally welded (ASTM B467) forms, both are suitable for pressurized fluid service.

  • General Industrial Fluids: Pipelines for high-purity water, organic solvents, and mild acidic media, as well as pneumatic brake tubing for vehicles.

  • Well-balanced mechanical properties: Tensile strength ranges from 275 to 345 MPa, with elongation ≥25%, offering excellent strength-toughness matching, and hardness levels can be adjusted via cold working.

  • Reliable joining & forming: Compatible with oxy-acetylene welding, TIG welding, brazing, and soldering. Minimum bending radius can reach 1.5D without cracking, and tube ends support flaring and beading.

  • Outstanding life-cycle economy: In seawater systems with a 25-year design life, corrosion allowance is significantly lower than carbon steel, and the material is 100% recyclable.
