"White Cast" or Staining: Some traditional white sticks can leave a chalky residue on skin or white marks on dark clothing. "Clear Solid" formulas were invented to solve this problem.
Tugging or Dragging: On very dry skin or with certain formulas, the application might not be as smooth.
Ingredients: Conventional sticks often contain aluminum (if it's an antiperspirant), silicones, and synthetic ingredients that some people may wish to avoid.
Plastic Waste: Most sticks come in a plastic package that, while sometimes recyclable, often ends up in landfill.
