An airless bottle is a sophisticated dispensing system designed to protect its contents from air, light, and contamination. Unlike standard pump bottles that use a simple tube and rely on air to replace the product, airless systems use a mechanical mechanism to dispense product without letting any air back into the container.
The magic lies in a unique piston and platform system. Think of it like a syringe:
The Dispenser Pump: This is the top part you press down on.
The Product Chamber: This is where your cream or serum sits.
The Piston/Diaphragm: A tight-fitting disc that sits just below the product, creating a seal.
The Bottom Platform: The disc at the very bottom of the bottle that you see moving up.
The Action:
When you press the pump, product is forced out through the nozzle.
This action creates a vacuum in the product chamber.
To equalize the pressure, the bottom platform moves upward, pushing the piston with it.
This piston pushes the remaining product toward the pump, ensuring no empty space (and therefore no air) is left inside.
The result: 100% of the product is dispensed, and air never touches the contents.
