Description:

Pullulan is an extracellular water-soluble viscous polysaccharide, similar to glucan and xanthan gum, produced by the fermentation of Aureobasidium pullulans (formerly Pullularia pullulans).


Pullulan is a water-soluble viscous polysaccharide. The finished product is a white solid powder.

Excellent film-forming, fiber-forming, gas barrier, adhesion/binding, processability, and non-toxicity.
