Amphenol's High Current Pins (HCP) are designed to bring connections closer to uncut wire, reducing power loss and improving system efficiency. Utilizing high conductivity alloys and precision machining, these pins push current-carrying capability beyond Mil-Spec limits and reduce heat dissipation. HCPs are fully interchangeable with M39029 pins and available in any Amphenol connector series. They offer a 15%-25% improvement in ampacity and can be integrated by simply changing the pin side of existing connector systems (sizes 22D to 12). Amphenol can estimate the KWH saved per year by switching to HCPs. Contact the factory for more information on high power applications and smaller Temper-Grip contacts under development.
